About Me

Greetings!  I am so glad that you have stumbled on my blog.  I’m first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ.  I am also a husband to this wonderful woman, a father to a beautiful little girl, and the minister to students at First Baptist Church in Thomson, GA.  I’ve been in youth ministry for over 15 years, so I guess technically that makes me a “veteran.”  However,  I hardly feel like someone who should “have all the answers” to ministry with youth.   I’m just a fellow youth worker in the trenches, still on the journey, still trying to figure some things out.  This blog is a place for me to process and share what God is teaching me, what I’m seeing and observing, and hoping to get some feedback from you!  I hope this can be a place where youth ministers, parents, and even teenagers can carry on meaningful conversations about these issues.  God bless you as you read, think, and discuss.
